Buckeye Risk Services has hired Mark Jones as business development manager, adding a former franchised dealership general manager and buy here, pay here group CEO with nearly 40 years of automotive experience.

“Having spent nearly four decades in the automotive business, including leading successful dealership organizations, Mark understands the needs of dealers because he has been in their shoes,” writes Buckeye CEO Robert Fox Sr. in a release.

Jones served nearly a decade on the board of the Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association, including a term as president, and was a member of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Board. Executives say he will focus on expanding Buckeye’s presence in the independent and franchised markets and building relationships with dealers and finance sources.

“Joining Buckeye Risk Services and becoming part of an organization so committed to the success of automobile dealers is an exciting opportunity,” Jones says.
