Hendrick Automotive Group will return to Columbia, S.C., with the purchase of Love Chevrolet and Love GMC from Love Automotive, which exits the market after 60 years. Hendrick operated Rick Hendrick Honda of Columbia from 1979 to 2001.

The dealerships will be renamed Hendrick Chevrolet and Hendrick GMC, but without disruption to sales and service operations, according to a press release.

Our priority is taking care of our new teammates and continuing to earn the trust of customers who’ve counted on these dealerships for decades.”
