NY Dealership Sues Former Finance Manager

A New York City Hyundai dealership accused a former employee of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty for allegedly accepting kickbacks from a product provider, according to Eric Freedman of Automotive News.
Vadim Mulladzhanov is accused of accepting up to $60,000 per year from F&I products and services provider JM&A, which Freedmen notes is not party to the lawsuit.
“The Star Auto contracts generally required warranty service to be done at Star Hyundai, the suit said,” Freedmen writes. “That benefited the store because it could decide what repairs were covered, and it could earn revenue for other maintenance that customers paid for, it said.”
