PCMI has promoted Clyde Owen to CEO, effective Jan. 1. Owen, who had served as the company’s president since 2022, succeeds Mark Nagelvoort, who is now PCMI’s executive chairman.

“PCMI has reached a defining moment, and I am incredibly proud of the foundation we’ve built,” writes Owen in a press release. “Our focus now is on execution and platform investment to help our customers run more efficient, resilient businesses as the market evolves.”

Owen brings 20-plus years of experience “building, scaling and transforming” companies in the insurance and F&I industries, the release states, having served as founder and in executive leadership roles at Insurity as well as LexisNexis and ClarionDoor.

In November, PCMI made headlines with its acquisition of StoneEagle’s admin and claims operations.
