Recall Issued for 2018–’19 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango

Chrysler is recalling their 2018–’19 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs due to a potential malfunction with the antilock braking system, the Detroit Free Press reported.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported the recall Nov. 7 and warned that 206,502 vehicles could be affected. Parent company Stellantis issued a statement saying they are currently unaware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.
Stellantis executives noted that the issue was caught during a company review of warranty data.
Chrysler advised affected owners to visit dealerships for a free inspection and necessary repairs, saying the recall underscores the automaker’s commitment to ensuring customer safety while highlighting the ongoing challenges of quality control in vehicle production.
