Smart AutoCare (div. The Fortegra Group) announced the hiring of 22-year industry veteran Christopher Murphy as the F&I product and services provider’s new president.

“We are pleased to welcome Christopher Murphy to the Smart AutoCare executive team,” writes Tom Reilly, head of Fortegra’s Global Consumer Solutions team, in a release. “His extensive leadership experience and focus on operational discipline will be instrumental in helping us deliver even greater value and support to agents and dealers.”

Murphy had been president of OptionSoft Technologies since 2019 after serving in executive leadership roles with Warrantech and Interstate National Dealer Services.
