New inride AI Agent Asks Customers for Trades
Consumer-to-dealer auto marketplace inride has added Trade Agent AI, a new, agentic AI tool designed to identify trade-in and purchase opportunities and engage with vehicle owners.
In a release, executives say Trade Agent AI can text values and schedule appointments fully autonomously, a first for the industry.
“Every VIN is a trade. Trade Agent AI finds it first,” writes inride CEO Nick Perdikis. “Dealers are sitting on a goldmine inside their database. We’ve built the first AI that mines it, books it, and turns it into front-end gross — faster than any human team.”
The solution was piloted by the four-rooftop, Washington, D.C.-area Koons Motors, where Perdikis’s brother, Alex, is owner and CEO.
