Penske, Hendrick Top Reputation Rankings for Public, Private Groups

Penske and Hendrick Automotive earned the highest Reputation Scores among public and private dealer groups, respectively, in Reputation’s latest rankings of North American auto retailers. Penske (806) and Hendrick (883) earned the only 800 (out of 1,000)-plus scores in their segments.

Stevenson-Hendrick Honda Wilmington (Del.) was the No. 1 individual dealership ranked by Reputation, earning a score of 958; eight of the top 10 dealerships in this year’s report are part of the group.

Among publicly owned retailers, Penske was followed by AutoNation and Group 1 Automotive, both of which earned a score of 776. The Ken Ganley group (797) and Holman Automotive (740) joined Hendrick at the top of the privately held group rankings.

Reputation ranked manufacturers as well, with Subaru (737), Honda (715) and Nissan (705) topping the non-luxury leaderboard and Lexus (759), Infiniti (738) and Audi (708) atop the luxury segment.
