RockED Named Official Certification Partner for National Loan Payoff Clearinghouse

EPIC has named RockED the official industry certification partner for EPIC’s National Loan Payoff Clearinghouse, establishing the first formal education and certification pathway for automotive professionals involved in loan payoff, lien release and title transparency workflows.

“Our goal is to help professionals understand not only how the NLPC works, but why it matters to the future of automotive operations,” writes Matthias Stoever, co-founder and CEO of RockED, in a LinkedIn post.

The partnership is designed to help dealers, finance sources, insurers and industry technology partners adopt modernized payoff processes — replacing fragmented, manual workflows that rely on paper checks, overnight shipping and inconsistent title tracking. Executives say RockED will support the development and delivery of certification content covering payoff quoting, settlement, reconciliation, lien release and title tracking across the NLPC network.

“The NLPC was built to modernize one of the most important and overlooked financial workflows in automotive,” writes says EPIC CEO Brandon Hall, CEO of EPIC. “But infrastructure alone is not enough. If we want the industry to move away from fragmented, manual processes, we also need education, certification, and a shared operating standard.”

“Our goal is to help professionals understand not only how the NLPC works, but why it matters to the future of automotive operations,” adds Matthias Stoever, co-founder and CEO of RockED.

EPIC won the inaugural Startup Symposium competition at Agent Summit in April following Hall’s NLPC-focused presentation to agents, provider executives and a three-judge panel.
