Sierra Motors of Ottawa, Ill., has been rebranded as Ottawa Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Ottawa Mazda by the franchises’ new owner, Sean Sivore, who purchased them from his former employer, Home Run Auto Group, in late December.

Weeks earlier, Sierra Motors was part of Janesville, Wis.-based Home Run’s acquisition of Ottawa’s Bill Walsh Automotive Group. Also acquired in that deal was Bill Walsh Chevrolet GMC, which Home Run sold to a partner, Joe Hamblock, who renamed the store Hamblock Chevrolet GMC.

Hamblock tells Shaw Local’s Bill Freskos the Northern Illinois market is “amazing.”

“I’ve met some awesome people, got to see Ottawa, and every single person I’ve met so far has been really nice. We’re a people-first organization. Before we do anything else, we want to make sure our people are in the right spots and have what they need. We’re really about the customer experience.”
