Vegas Dealer Sues Mayweather Over $1.2M G-Class

KSNV Las Vegas reports Vegas Auto Gallery has sued Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an attempt to collect $1.2 million for a 2018 Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet SUV, one of four vehicles the boxing legend acquired from the dealership earlier this year.
Mayweather ultimately returned three of the vehicles but agreed to pay $1.2 million to keep the G-Class, according to the lawsuit, which notes a Sept. 1 deadline was extended to Sept. 18.
However, last week, in an interview with TMZ and a series of social media posts, Mayweather claimed the dealer understated the vehicle’s acquisition costs, among other accusations of deceptive practices, and appeared poised to take legal action to forcibly unwind the deal.
Vegas Auto Gallery attorney Michael Cristalli appeared unmoved in a statement shared with KSNV’s Matthew Seeman.
“Our filing speaks for itself. Despite Mr. Mayweather buying the vehicles, tendering checks and executing purchase agreements, he refused to pay for the vehicles,” Cristalli says.
