Wyler Family Buys Midwestern in $500 Million, 14-Franchise Deal

Sell-side advisor Dave Cantin Group announced the acquisition of Dublin, Ohio’s Midwestern Auto Group and its 14 mostly premium and luxury franchises by the Cincinnati-based Jeff Wyler Automotive Family.
Renamed the Wyler Collection, the $500 million deal includes MAG’s Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Porsche, BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, Audi, Volvo, Lotus, MINI and Volkswagen stores, all of which share a 42-acre campus in Dublin, a Columbus suburb.
A DCG releases calls the “historic” acquisition one of the largest in state history and the largest auto retail deals to close so far this year.
“A single-site campus offering 14 premium and luxury franchises almost never becomes available. Identifying a private operator capable of acquiring the full enterprise, meeting OEM requirements and preserving the legacy of what Mark built resulted in an extremely limited pool of potential buyers,” founder and CEO Dave Cantin writes in a release. “The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family was the ideal fit in every regard.”
