Edmunds Testers Name Honda Civic Hybrid ‘Best of the Best’
The Honda Civic Hybrid leads Edmunds’s Top Rated 2025 Best of the Best rankings, one of five hybrid or fully electric models in the top six. Category winners include the Tesla Model 3 (Top Rated Electric Car), Toyota Grand Highlander (SUV) and Ford Ranger (Truck).
The awards are based on 50,000-plus miles of driving by the Edmunds editorial team, which together tests more than 300 vehicles and assigns an Edmunds Rating based on performance, value and efficiency.
“In 2025, car shoppers are continuing to battle high purchase costs, and our winners combine all-round excellence with a fine value,” Edmunds Editor-in-Chief Alistair Weaver wrote in a release. “Put simply, these are the cars, trucks and SUVs we’d advise our friends and family to buy.”
