Intellicheck Adds Front-Door ID Check to Agility Credit Fraud Platform
Intellicheck has partnered with Agility Credit, an approved automotive credit bureau reseller, to add identity verification before a credit file is pulled, in a move designed to help dealerships detect identity-related fraud.
Executives say Agility Credit layers credit data, device intelligence and red flag workflows on top of Intellicheck’s AI-powered verification, with the goal of detecting potential synthetic identities, stolen identities and credit-washing attempts at multiple points in a deal. The approach is designed to support documentation of identity checks for compliance.
“A credit decision should start with confidence in the ID presented, not just the information in a credit file,” writes Intellicheck CEO Bryan Lewis in a release.
“Fraud at the dealership has changed. Bad actors now walk in with stolen identities and fake IDs good enough to fool the human eye,” adds Darrel Schulte, co-founder and CEO of Agility Credit.
