Maine CJDR Store Abruptly Closes With Vehicles Trapped Inside

Several customers of Oxford County Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Paris, Maine, tell the U.S. Sun their vehicles are locked up in the dealership, which was forced to close last week. The store was in business for more than 60 years before an April 3 court order allowed Rockland Trust, to which ownership reportedly owes nearly $4.5 million, to seize it.

Senior Motors Reporter Michael Golson found numerous customers driving around the property, trying to spot their vehicles inside the dealership’s service bays.

“They said it would be two weeks. Then no phone call, no anything, to let me know what’s going on,” Peggy Tripp, who was able to retrieve her vehicle with the help of a wrecker, tells Golson.
