Numa’s Smart Inbox Uses AI to Add Context to Calls

Numa has launched Smart Inbox, a new, AI-based solution designed to enhance communications with service advisors, parts team members and BDC reps by adding customer-specific context to every call and voicemail.

Data sources include customer history, prior messages, service updates and notes from previous interactions, according to a release, giving the system — and its users — strong indicators as to each caller’s purpose.

“A phone-only AI solution is incomplete,” writes Numa co-founder and CEO Tasso Roumeliotis. “Dealerships don’t just need calls answered; they need context, coordination and accountability across service advisors, BDC and parts.
