Attorney and compliance expert Jim Ganther will present a free, CDK-hosted webinar dedicated to helping dealers and agents prepare for implementation of the California CARS Act at 3 p.m. ET this Wednesday.

“Are You Ready for the California CARS Act?” will guide attendees through strict new dealership compliance requirements relating to disclosures, voluntary protection product sales and record retention as well as the state’s new three-day right to cancel for some used vehicle transactions.

Ganther tells Auto Dealer News that participants will receive an exclusive white paper at the end of the event.

“I am presenting because dealers need a plain-language explanation of what they must be doing by October 1 to comply with the CARS Act.
