Report: Most Dealership Website Visitors Go Unidentified

Most dealerships identify only a fraction of the consumers engaging with their websites, leaving significant blind spots despite heavy investment in digital marketing and analytics tools, according to new research from Launch Labs, a provider of AI-powered identity and data solutions.
In a new, free ebook, “From Fragmentation to Conversion,” analysts say up to 85% of dealership website visitors remain unidentified using traditional approaches. Modern identity resolution techniques, however, can help dealerships identify up to four times more website visitors and expand identifiable audiences to as much as 70% of site traffic.
“Dealerships have more data available than ever before, but too much of it remains disconnected and underutilized,” writes Garrett Roach, founder and CEO of Launch Labs, in a release. “The opportunity isn’t collecting more data — it’s creating a connected system that allows organizations to identify more buyers, engage them more effectively, and measure results with confidence.”
